“Be Here Now”

Soul Art

Our world invites left-brain analytic thinking to predominate our day. Soul art allows our right-brain creative expression to bring balance to life. Through drawing, painting, weaving, sculpting, writing, sewing, and crafting (whatever your medium), you can allow wisdom to flow and get ‘unstuck.’

Our subconscious attempts to present to us a wealth of information, wisdom and healing. This occurs one way in our sleeping dream world, but it also can pour forth when we engage our creative brain and allow messages and meaning to flow.

Sign up for my newsletter to see dates for group art or gather some friends and we can create together.

Soul Art is available in 3 formats:

  • In an individual session, you and I will create and reflect on meanings and messages from your subconscious.

  • Visit my Facebook Events page to find a scheduled class.

  • Gather some of your friends and I will facilitate a group experience for you.

Neurographic Meditation

Through neurographic drawing, our subconscious transforms our chosen topic (fears stress, doubts, questions) in a process that releases new energy to convey healing or new life. Neurons are information messengers in our brain. They use electrical impulses and chemical signals to transmit information through our nervous system. Neurographic art uses these energy signals to send messages from your subconscious into your present.

In this class, you will identify your focus, allow your subconscious to draw some neurographic lines then form new neural networks in a beautiful meditative process.

Chakra Art

Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel; it is used to describe the energy points in your body. Everything is energy including the human body. Energy that stays “open” and aligned corresponds to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional, spiritual and physical well-being. In chakra art, you allow your body to express the energy of each of your chakras. Guided reflection and meditation with your art allows visual representation of your chakras and enhances your energy flow.

Mandalas

Carl Jung used the Sanskrit word mandala, meaning “magic circle,” to describe the circular drawings he and his patients created. While mandalas have been used throughout many ancient traditions, including Buddhism and Hinduism, Jung is credited with introducing these images to the Western world. Jung studied mandalas extensively, finding a great deal of potential symbolic meaning in them. He intimately associated them with psychological and spiritual health. I will lead you in allowing your soul to speak as you create mandalas in a variety of forms.

Labyrinths

A labyrinth is a pattern with a purpose. They offer a chance to take “time out” from our busy lives, to leave schedules and stress behind. Walking a labyrinth is a gift we give to ourselves. The labyrinth represents our passage through time and experience. Its many turns reflect the journey of life, which involves changes of direction, transition, some uncertainty but also discovery and achievement. Different from a maze (which has dead ends and false passages), the labyrinth has a single path that leads unerringly to the center. It shows us that no time or effort is ever wasted; if we stay the course, every step however circuitous, however many turns, however distant it seems, takes us closer to our goal. The labyrinth meets each person where they are and helps them to take the next step on their spiritual path. It stills the conscious mind so that deeper consciousness and wisdom can come forward with insights, perspectives and understandings that are important to you now.

Check my newsletter or email me for dates of group labyrinth walking and crafting. Explore your inner creativity while crafting a labyrinth reflecting your unique spiritual journey. Make your own labyrinth with the medium of your choice: paint, fabric, clay, collage, crayon.
